I heard about this back when I was still working with Habitat. And I finally saw a sign for the thrift store in the First United Methodist Church on Lewiston Road.
You may remember that ReStore used to be in the basement of that church- the retail store that supports Habitat for Humanity of Genesee County. And you may not care to know but I want to share with you that me and some awesome RIT students unloaded all that “stuff” up two flights of stairs to the new location on Ellicott Street. Have you been there yet? You should totally check it out! A used Home Depot type store!
Anyways this is a very small store. The name describes it perfectly “Kozy Korner.” It is open every Wednesday from noon-4p.m.
They are selling items donated. You can drop donations off during church office hours.
